BREAK-AWAY ADAPTER
Smart-Hose® Safety System
Specially designed to protect facilities, tank trucks, rail cars, loading arms, and the workforce from the potentially hazardous consequences of a pull-away incident. Adapter (coupler) products provide break-away protection and offer the flexibility to be used with Smart-Hose® Assemblies, conventional hose assemblies, or where no hose attachments are required.

NOTE: DO NOT use the Smart-Hose® Technologies Break-Away System as a swivel device for installation.
The Smart-Hose® safety separation hose assembly system will arrive equipped with a rubber bumper guard and safety wire. The safety wire prevents the assembly from being used as a swivel device during installation. Using the safety system as a swivel device can compromise the integrity of the internal seals. DO NOT remove the wire or rubber bumper guard. All Smart-Hose® Technologies’ warranties will be void if the rubber bumper and/or safety wire is cut or removed.
