UHMW Chemical Break-away Hose

The Smart-Hose® Safety System is designed to work with UHMW chemical hose which can handle most commonly used acids, chemicals and solvents. The ultra high molecular weight polyethylene tube will not leach into and contaminate the product being conveyed. High Pressure Live Swivel

Designed to reduce hose torque and extend the functional life of your high pressure hose assembly

Smart-Hose Technologies has developed and engineered a Live Swivel that is integrated into the end fitting. The high pressure Live Swivel is designed to work in conjunction with the Smart-Hose Safety System. If the hose assembly experiences a catastrophic hose failure event, the Smart-Hose Live Swivel Safety System is designed to instantaneously shut down the flow of material in both directions.
High pressure hose assemblies often experience premature hose failure due to excessive hose torque or twisting. The Smart-Hose Live Swivel fitting is designed to allow the high pressure hose assembly the ability to maintain neutral torque during pressurization while extending the func-tional life of the hose assembly. The Smart-Hose Live Swivel Safety System is a passive safety system and therefore, needs no Human Intervention or External Control Systems to activate.

The Smart-Hose Break-Away has been designed to protect your plant’s piping and bulkhead from pull-away incidents. Designed to integrate with the Smart-Hose safety system and engineered with a predetermined break point. The Smart-Hose Break-Away can add an additional layer of protection inside your hose assembly while protecting your facility from the devastating consequences of a pull-away accident.
